Your mission
We are seeking a seasoned and dedicated Director of Sales and Business Development to join our team, working remotely within Asia. This role is crucial for our continued growth and will involve building and nurturing strong, long-lasting client relationships and representing ten23 health with professionalism and integrity. You will apply your technical expertise and business acumen to position our company as a trusted partner in the biopharmaceutical industry.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Cultivating and managing client relationships, from initial contact to fostering long-term loyalty.
  • Working with our team to create brand awareness and support marketing initiatives in the marketplace.
  • Researching potential partners to identify new business opportunities and leads.
  • Establishing a professional rapport with potential clients and arranging meetings.
  • Representing the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Presenting and explaining the value and scope of proposals and quotations to clients.
  • Expanding the value of existing accounts while also attracting new clients.
  • Demonstrating a collaborative and client-focused approach to sales, actively listening to needs and contributing to new business acquisition through both cold-calling and warm leads.
  • Negotiating contracts and participating in steering committees on behalf of the company.
Your profile
We are looking for a professional who possesses the following qualifications and attributes:
  • Extensive experience in sales within the biopharmaceutical industry, with five or more years of experience (CDMO experience is highly preferred).
  • A strong background in modern drug modalities (e.g., mAbs, fusion antibodies, ADCs, AAVs) and complex primary packaging (e.g., PFS, cartridges for auto injectors).
  • A demonstrated history of sales success over the past 2-5 years.
  • A solid technical foundation in life sciences with a clear understanding of the pharmaceutical development process, particularly in sterile drug product development, testing, and manufacturing (e.g., fill & finish).
  • A proven track record in building new service businesses, preferably within a new organization.
  • Strong self-organization and an ability to manage multiple client inquiries in parallel, ensuring timely project completion.
  • Adaptability and a growth mindset, with an ability to thrive in a start-up environment.
  • Business fluency in Japanese and English to support our international operations. Additional proficiency in Taiwanese and/or Korean would be an advantage.
