We are looking for a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Procurement & Logistics Assistant. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone early in their career in logistics or procurement, with a focus on supporting day-to-day operations in a laboratory environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Procurement Support
  • Ordering materials and services needed for lab operations.
  • Maintaining relationships with local suppliers and service providers.
  • Tracking orders and follow up on deliveries and invoices.
•  Logistics Coordination and Sample Handling 
  • Organizing incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Preparing  shipping documents and liaise with logistics providers.
  • Tracking shipments and report delivery status as well as providing confirmation of sample receipt to senders.
  • Assisting with receiving, labeling, storing, and shipping samples.
•  Inventory Management
  • Tracking and restocking of consumables and materials in labs and storage areas.
  • Managing KanBan systems to ensure timely replenishment.
  • Keeping inventory records up to date and accurate.
•  Instrument & Maintenance Support
  • Coordinating maintenance and repair of lab instruments.
  • Supporting documentation and scheduling of periodic checks.

We are looking for someone with:

• Completed vocational training in logistics, business administration, or a related field (e.g., Kaufmann/Kauffrau EFZ).
• Some experience in logistics, procurement, or inventory management is a plus.
• Comfortable using MS Office tools (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Good communication skills in German (required); English and/or French are a plus.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
• Familiarity with shipping procedures or hazardous materials is a bonus, but not required.
