Head Visual Inspection e/v/e/r/y/o/n/e

We're looking for an experienced leader to join our team as the Head Visual Inspection, working 5 days onsite in Visp!
 
In this role, you will be crucial in ensuring our capacity ramp-up keeps pace with the planned filling of 3 batches per week. You will be responsible for the GMP-compliant management of visual inspection for parenteral medicinal products, utilizing your well-founded knowledge to meet authority expectations. Your responsibilities will include,

• Taking responsibility for the organizational, technical, and GMP compliant management of the visual inspection of parenteral medicinal products.
• Ensuring that all activities related to particle and defect detection are executed in accordance with regulatory requirements, internal quality standards, and customer specifications.
• Leading a team of qualified employees and managing the circle set-up, which includes additional hiring, training, and organization (scaling up to potentially two shifts in VI).
• Collaborating closely with Production, QC, QA, and Supply Chain.
• Overseeing the accomplishment of training programs, including Vivaldi-activities, and ensuring visual inspection productivity targets are met.

We are looking for someone with:

• University degree in a scientific or technical discipline (Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Food Technology, or similar).
• Several years of professional experience in a GMP environment, ideally in the manufacturing and/or inspection of sterile/parenteral dosage forms.
• Solid knowledge of EU GMP Annex 1 requirements and inspection methods for particle detection.
• Experience in managing quality-relevant documentation, deviations, and CAPAs.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the resilience, decisiveness, and ability to motivate teams.
• High problem solving ability and skill in setting priorities.
• Structured, process oriented, and quality focused working style.
